Arngomery cottage is a recently renovated cottage in Kippen, Stirlingshire. It has been furnished sympathetically and is very spacious and comfortable. Outside there is a private terrace and guests are free to enjoy the picturesque and tranquil grounds of approximately 3 acres.
Although surrounded by parkland and fields, a pleasant 15 minute walk takes you to the little village of Kippen with its two good pub/restaurants and delicatessen.
The 3 acres of gardens comprise a large flat lawn with an embankment rising up to an area of woodland beyond. In summer months there are cattle in the fields to the front and side of the property. Children will enjoy the play area of swings and large trampoline with safety net. In addition to the table and chairs on the terrace, there are also some teak recliners near the play area where parents can relax while keeping an eye on children. One well behaved dog is welcome (additional £20).
The cottage is situated 1 mile outside the village of Kippen which has shops and two very good pubs. Set in a rural location, it is ideally situated for visiting the Trossachs, Loch Lomond National Park and the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
